Your Skye Escape Awaits

Storr Lochs Lodge, with its own private jetty, was built circa 1900 as a hunting and fishing lodge that has seen many colourful characters through its doors over the years. The Lodge sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms (two doubles upstairs and one twin room on the ground floor) each of which has beautiful views. The master bedroom boasts a shower room which showcases the original stone wall, while a full bathroom can be found on the ground level, featuring a slipper bathtub with arguably the best view on the island! The window seat in the living room is a tranquil setting where you can sit and read inside, though literally on the water's edge.

If your book doesn't captivate you, the views and ambience and sound of the gentle water lapping against the walls will. This is a writer's, artist's, walker's, wildlife-lover's and photographer's paradise. With the best trout fishing in the UK at your door, beneath your windows, and from your own private jetty, it will also be heaven for any fly fisherman: from the Loch to the pan in a minute!

Windows from the living room will also give you the best view of the old Man of Storr from a sofa, anywhere on Skye. From here you can also watch the Aurora Borealis dance above the Old Man Of Storr while sipping wine in front of a roaring fire.

Watch otters & stoats play in the garden. Herons regularly fish from the banks of the garden, swans swim past the livingroom and majestic sea eagles soar overhead. The Lodge in the Loch will fill your visit with wild splendour while you enjoy it all in luxurious, effortless style.
